    Put your journey on the map

    Add your origin, destination, time and whether you are driving, riding or either. Recurring days and return trips are welcome.

    See matches that make sense

    Poolr checks real routes, times and detours. You see the honest figures — not a vague “nearby” badge — before you decide.

  3. 03

    Shake hands at the pickup

    After you commit, the driver gets the precise pickup point and the passenger gets the car and registration. A QR scan confirms the start.

  4. 04

    Complete, rate, repeat

    Only a legitimate completed journey unlocks ratings, Points, badges and Live counters. Trust is earned by travelling, not by tapping.

Is Poolr a taxi or ride-hailing app?

No. Poolr is a carpool community. Members offer or find seats on journeys they are already making. Poolr does not collect, hold, settle or transfer money for rides, and it is not a private-hire or taxi service.

How do contributions work?

Any contribution towards fuel or costs is arranged directly between the people sharing the journey. Poolr never processes that payment. The app is for finding, arranging and completing the journey.

How does matching actually work?

Poolr looks at routes, departure times and the real detour needed to pick someone up. You see figures such as shared distance, extra minutes and departure gap before you commit. Exact pickup points and vehicle registration details are exchanged after the handshake.

Is my location tracked all the time?

No. Poolr does not continuously track you. Location is captured as checkpoints around QR verification, and precise places are only shared when a journey is committed. It is a safety and verification feature, not a tracking product.

What does a membership cost?

Ad-Free is £0.99/month, Plus is £1.49/month and VIP is £2.49/month. Annual plans are £9.99, £14.99 and £24.99 respectively. Memberships will be billed through the App Store or Google Play when the app launches.

Do sponsored markers disappear on Ad-Free?

No. Ad-Free hides the sponsor banner only. Sponsored squares, districts and groups stay visible to everyone, on every tier and every surface.

How does Poolr make money?

Memberships and sponsorship sold directly by Poolr. There are no third-party ad networks, no data selling and no cut of ride contributions.

When can I join?

Poolr is in development for iOS and Android. Join the early-access list and we will send launch news. You can also email us if you run a community group or a local business that wants to be part of the first map.
